„Take me back to Obertauern“ – ein Slogan, mit dem Obertauern im Salzburger Land wirbt und der jetzt passender nicht sein könnte. Christian Flühr kehrt im Rahmen von #Project3M im Winter nach Obertauern zurück. Genau hier stellte er seine ersten beiden Weltrekorde (Rückblick 25 Jahre Weltrekorde) auf – und kaum ein Ort steht so sehr für Schneesicherheit wie Obertauern.

“Take me back to Obertauern” – a slogan used to promote the resort in Salzburg’s Obertauern, and now it couldn’t be more fitting. This winter, Christian Flühr returns to Obertauern as part of #Project3M. It was here that he set his first two world records – and few places symbolize snow reliability quite like Obertauern.

Das Summercamp #Project3M in Willingen ging mit einer Runde Abenteuergolf zu Ende. Dort spielte Christian mit Michael Sellemerten, der während der Zeit in Willingen Gastgeber von Christians Team ist. In der Wellnesswohnung-Willingen haben bis zu 10 Personen zugleich Platz und im Untergeschoss der Wohnung gibt es sogar einen Wellnessbereich.

The #Project3M summer camp in Willingen concluded with a round of adventure golf. Christian played with Michael Sellemerten, who is hosting Christian's team during their stay in Willingen. The Willingen wellness apartment can accommodate up to 10 people at a time, and there's even a wellness area in the basement.

Das Skiparadies Sudelfeld ist einer der Destinationen für #Project3M. Bergbahnchef Egid Stadler begrüßte den Bond auf Bretter heute im Skiparadies Sudelfeld, wo mit Handschlag das gemeinschaftliche Abenteuer besiegelt wurde. Mit dabei auch Michael Maier von Top On Snow Sudelfeld, der diese Kooperation eingefädelt hat und mit seiner Skischule Christian bei der Rekordfahrt unterstützen wird.

Sudelfeld is one of the destinations for #Project3M. Mountain railway manager Egid Stadler welcomed Bond on skis today in the Sudelfeld ski resort, where the shared adventure was sealed with a handshake. Also present was Michael Maier of Top On Snow Sudelfeld, who initiated this collaboration and will support Christian on his record-breaking run with his ski school.

Am Wochenende erreichte Christian die traurige Nachricht, dass Freund, Seilbahnchef und Visionär Hannes Rechnenauer aus Oberaudorf nicht mehr da ist. Er verstarb im Alter von 60 Jahren. Christian geht der Tod eines Menschens, der ihn seit rund 2 Dekaden begleitete, sehr nahe.

This weekend, Christian received the sad news that his friend, cable car owner, and visionary Hannes Rechnenauer from Oberaudorf was no longer with him. He died at the age of 60. The death of someone who had been with him for about two decades is deeply troubling for Christian.

In der letzten Woche traf sich Christians Weltrekordteam bei wahrlich tropischen Temperaturen online, um die Vorbereitung auf #Project3M zu koordinieren. Funfact: Ein Teammitglied saß in Mississippi vor dem Bildschirm. #Project3M ist und bleibt ein globaler Abenteuer.

 

Last week, Christian's world-record team met online in truly tropical temperatures to coordinate preparations for #Project3M. Fun fact: One team member was in Mississippi watching the video. #Project3M is and remains a global adventure.

Die Bjelasnica und Sarajevo sind Teil von #Project3M. Dass die bosnische Metropole Teil der spektakulären Weltrekordjagd wird udn auf den Spuren von Olympia 19084 wandeln kann, hat Christian der früheren SFOR-Sprachmittlerin Lejla Cikota zu verdanken, die er seit seinem SFOR-Einsatz im internationalen Hauptquartier kennt. Bjelasnica and Sarajevo are part of #Project3M. Christian has former SFOR interpreter Lejla Cikota, whom he has known since his SFOR deployment at the international headquarters, to thank for the Bosnian metropolis's participation in the spectacular world record chase and the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the 1984 Olympics.

Am zweiten Tag vom Summercamp #Project3M in Willingen stand für Christian Flühr Mountaincart-Fahrren am Ritzhagen, Mountainbiken auf Trails an der K1-Sesselbahn und eine Runde Bergwandern im Bereich der Diemelquelle auf dem Programm. Krönender Abschluss war das Essen zum Sonnenuntergang mit unglaublicher Aussicht auf der Terrasse der Graf-Stollberg-Hütte.

On the second day of the Summercamp #Project3M in Willingen, Christian Flühr's itinerary included mountain cart riding at Ritzhagen, mountain biking on trails near the K1 chairlift, and a hike near the Diemelquelle spring. The crowning finale was a meal with an incredible view during the sunset on the terrace of the Graf-Stollberg-Hütte.

Während vor den Kulissen die sportliche Vorbereitung konkrete Formen annimmt, laufen im Hintergrund die Absprachen mit den Skigebieten. Mehr als 20 Destination sind bis jetzt dabei. Tendenz weiter steigend. Zusammen mit Daniel und Michi freute sich Christian am vergangenen Sonntag über die 20. Zusage. Heute, Dienstag, kamen wieder 2 neue Skigebiete dazu.

While the athletic preparations are taking shape behind the scenes, negotiations with the ski resorts are underway in the background. More than 20 destinations have signed up so far, and the number is continuing to rise. Christian, along with Daniel and Michi, was delighted last Sunday to announce the 20th confirmation. And today, Tuesday, two more new ski resorts were added.

An dem Ort, wo sich Sabrinas und Christians Wege kreutzen, der Snowworld Landgraaf, besprachen die beiden die nächsten Schritte im #Project3M. Für alle, die Sabrina nicht kennen. Sie ist die Teamchefin vom Bond auf Brettern. Die Snowworld Landgraaf war auch Ort zweier Indoor-Weltrekorde und ist einzige überdachte Skigebiet in Europa.

At the place where Sabrina and Christian's paths cross, Snowworld Landgraaf, the two discussed the next steps in #Project3M. She is the team leader of Bond on Skis. Snowworld Landgraaf has also hosted two indoor world records and is the only indoor ski resort in Europe.

Die nächste Destination ist "an Bord". Christian freut sich auf rund 3 Wochen in Hochfügen. Das Skigebiet im Zillertal sagte bereits im April zu bei #Project3M dabei sein zu wollen und war seinerzeit die erste Destinationen,

The next destination is "on board." Christian is looking forward to about three weeks in Hochfügen. The ski resort in the Zillertal valley already agreed to participate in #Project3M in April and was the first destination at the time.​​

Der Bond auf Brettern bedankt sich bei allen Menschen, die in Willingen bei der Vorbereitung und Durchführung des Sommercamps #Project3M beteiligt waren. Ein besonderer Dank gilt Arndt Brüne, Inhaber vom brandneuen Hotel "Mountain View", das Christian, seine Teamchefin Sabrina Hoever-Houben und TV-Journalist Daniel Stock ausprobieren durften! Christians Tip für Willingen: Abends oder unter bei schlechtem Wetter unbedingt Sandbox-VR im Hotel ausprobieren.

The Bond on skis thanks everyone in Willingen who helped prepare and run the #Project3M summer camp. Special thanks go to Arndt Brüne, owner of the brand-new "Mountain View" hotel, which Christian, his team leader Sabrina Hoever-Houben, and TV journalist Daniel Stock were able to try out! Christian's tip for Willingen: Be sure to try out the hotel's sandbox VR in the evenings or during bad weather.

Am Nordrand des Sauerlands, kurz hinter Lippstadt, traf Christian am späten Nachmittag auf Michael Sellemterten, der eine ganz besondere Ferienwohnung in Willingen betreibt. In dieser haben bis zu 10 Personden Platz und im Keller gibt es eine eigene Saunalandschaft gibt. Bei #Project3M wird Christian mit dem Team in der Wellnesswohnung-Willingen sein.

Late in the afternoon, on the northern edge of the Sauerland, just outside Lippstadt, Christian met Michael Sellemterten, who runs a very special vacation apartment in Willingen that sleeps up to 10 people and has its own sauna area in the basement. Christian will be in Willingen with the team at the Wellnesswohnung-Willingen for #Project3M.

Düsseldorf: Zum ersten Mal spricht Christian Flühr im MMA-Ring öffentlich über das "Project 3M" und gibt damit den Startschuss zum 15. Weltrekordprojekt seiner Karrie. Wenige Tage danach ist der Bond auf Brettern zu Gast in einer Morning-Radioshow in NRW und  spricht dort auch über "Project 3M".

Düsseldorf: For the first time, Christian Flühr speaks publicly about "Project 3M" in the MMA ring, thus launching the 15th world record project of his career. A few days later, the Bond on stage appears as a guest on a morning radio show in North Rhine-Westphalia, where he also discusses "Project 3M."
